Evelyn Claire’s ‘Pleasure’ Fails To Win Sundance

less than 1 minute read

Ninja Thyberg’s “Pleasure”, co-starring Evelyn Claire, did not win Sundance’s Grand Jury Prize nomination for World Dramatic Competition – which was instead granted to Lee Isaac Chung’s “Minari”.

Kellie Paulsen-Nail, as Evelyn Claire, plays Ava Rhoades in the film, a new Spiegler porn girl (Evelyn is one in real life) who has already risen to stardom but gives main character Bella Cherry (newcomer Sofia Kappel) the cold shoulder.

This is Evelyn Claire’s 4th award nomination loss in a week – losing 3 out of 3 AVN Award nominations last week. Future award possibilities include next week’s Gothenburg Film Festival, and July’s 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

We’ll keep you posted!
