BREAKING: “Pleasure” Wins Goteborg’s International Film Critics Honor

Following a loss at the Sundance Festival, Ninja Thyberg’s “Pleasure”, co-starring Evelyn Claire, just won the International Film Critics Honor at Sweden’s Goteborg Film Festival (“Fipresci Award”),

The jury described the film as a “raw, bold and daring documentary-like descent into the subterranean world of the L.A. porn industry, with a tour de force performance from newcomer Sofia Kappel”.

“Pleasure” is a drama about 20-year-old Bella Cherry (Sofia Kappel) who leaves Sweden for Los Angeles to become a porn star. Evelyn Claire plays Ava Rhoades in the film.
